| Bio: | I'm 20 and live in Iowa City, although I'm from Des Moines, IA.
I'm about to start my third year at the University of Iowa and I'm majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing, along with minoring in German and considering a second major in either linguistics or anthropology, can't decide yet.
I'm really big into music, and I'm open to most kinds, but I mostly listen to goth, batcave, deathrock, horrorpunk, post-punk, industrial, synthpop, futurepop, EBM, darkwave, new wave, and synth rock, although I also listen to a few bands here and there of punk, metal, and electronic music.
For movies, I'm mostly into foreign and independent films, my favorite being Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Favorite books are anything from horror to classics to political non-fiction.
My other interests include Germany, politics, history, horror/occult things, the goth and industrial subcultures, and GLBT culture. Various facts about me are I'm engaged, I'm far-left politically, I'm bisexual, and I'm an atheistic Satanist (as in LaVeyan/modern Satanism).
Also to note, if you look at my journal and you're not a friend, it may sometimes look like I haven't updated in a while, but I do make a fair number of friends only posts, so that could be the reason for the apparent lack of an update, despite there being one. |
